ABW Ministries is a very small and active group of women of this congregation.  Three to twelve women attend the meetings.   The meetings are normally about ninety minutes and meet on the fourth Thursday of the month at 7:00 p.m.

During the year 2007, the group participated in Church Women United activities that include World Day of Prayer and the World Community Day.  They also participated in the State ABW Ministry activities. 

The results for their work for the year were:

>Hand made items in support of our Annual Bazaar.  Hand made items were sent out with other play and school supplies as part of our White Cross quota.

>School bags for the Philippines

>Collected used glasses for the poor in South America

>Collected good used clothing for Women in Jeopardy

>Made Christmas Boxes for the Samaritans Christmas Box project

>Sent $50.00 to Haiti through the Evergreen Association after the disaster there

>Gave $50.00 for cards and postage for church birthdays and anniversaries

>Sent $75.00 to Africa for chickens and feed to a start up program to enable women to provide for their families

>Sent $225.00 to Congo, and $50.00 for roller bandages for hospitals or clinics

>Sent $50.00 to Church Women United

>Bought new baby fits totaling $235.00

>Sent $50.00 to National Ministries for Personal Care Kits

>Bought a new card table and chairs, and new coffee pots for the church spending about $67.00

>Sent $100.00 to the Bountiful Food Pantry

>Sent $225.00 to Lebanon

>Provided postage to mail boxed items to various places -- $45.00

>School backpacks were donated to Crossroads Urban Center and The Bountiful Food Pantry
